Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the WhoPay app (the "Application") for mobile devices, created by Rocket Drive (the "Service Provider") as a free service. The Application is provided "AS IS".

Information Collection and Use

The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include:

• Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)
• The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, and the time spent on those pages
• The time spent on the Application
• The operating system you use on your mobile device

The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.

The Service Provider may use the information you provide to contact you from time to time to provide important information, required notices and marketing promotions.

For a better experience, while using the Application, the Service Provider may require you to provide certain personally identifiable information. This information will be retained by the Service Provider and used as described in this privacy policy.

Research Data (Consent-Based)

By using the Application you agree to take part in academic research. The following may be recorded on your device:

• A pseudonymous user identifier (anon_id), response times, pre-signal tap timing, and round results
• Your participation is voluntary. You may withdraw at any time, and you can keep using the Application normally.
• You may withdraw consent at any time from the settings screen by tapping "Withdraw research consent". Withdrawing does not delete research data already stored on your device.
• In this version, research data is stored only on your device and is not sent to any server.

Research data is linked by anon_id and is therefore pseudonymous, not fully anonymous.

Third Party Access

The Service Provider may share your information with third parties only in the ways described in this privacy policy. The Service Provider may disclose user-provided and automatically collected information:

• as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process;
• when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
• with trusted service providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information disclosed to them, and have agreed to follow this privacy policy.

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by the Application by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall process available on your mobile device or in the app marketplace or network.

Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider retains user-provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time afterward. To ask for deletion of user-provided data, contact iamrocketdrive@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. Parents and legal guardians are encouraged to monitor their children's internet usage and to make sure children do not provide personally identifiable information through the Application without permission. If you believe a child has provided personally identifiable information to the Service Provider, contact iamrocketdrive@gmail.com so that the necessary action can be taken. You must be at least 16 years of age, or the minimum age in your country, to consent to the processing of your personally identifiable information. In some countries a parent or guardian may do so on your behalf.

Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information and provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the information it processes and maintains.

Changes

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of changes by updating this page. Continued use of the Application after changes means you accept them.

This privacy policy is effective as of 2025-01-02.

By using the Application, you consent to the processing of your information as set out in this privacy policy, as amended from time to time.
